America’s Academy of Pro Wrestling (AAPW) is a professional wrestling school located in Austin, TX. We have over 35 years of experience training pro-wrestlers, managers, referees, announcers, and valets. Our classes are open to both male and female students of all ages.
Meet The Team
I got into the wrestling business back in the spring of 1995. I was trained by Mr. George de la Isla. He trained me at the Givings Ree Center on E. 12st st in Austin. My name is Matt Vega and I have been involved with AAPW and the wrestling community for just over five years now. I've lived in the Austin area all of my life and now live in Leander, Texas. What I did not know when I first came to AAPW is that the world of professional wrestling is not limited to what happens in the ring after the bell. My unyielding love for wrestling brought me to this school, but when it became clear that I would not be medically able to wrestle, I refused to abandon my desire to progress the business.

Steve began his training in 2007 when AAPW was under the name OFC (Quest for Champions). He made his debut in 2008, and since then has wrestled all across Texas as well as several other states. Steve has held several championships within the Lone Star State, including the ACW Young Guns Championship, the RCW Heavyweight Championship the Inspire Pro Tag Team, and Heavyweight Championships, as well as the AAPW Heavyweight championship.
